Possible Closing/Delay for Monday, January 26th Only
In the event that we have inclement weather that will affect school this Monday, January 26th, we will follow the decision made for closing and/or delay made by Fairfax County Public Schools. Loudoun County has a teacher work day on Monday, so they will not be making a decision regarding weather for that school day. If conditions are worse in your neighborhood, please make your own decision especially for families that live west of the school as to whether conditions in your neighborhood warrant safe travel to school!
Please note, for all other times, Our Lady of Hope Catholic School follows Loudoun County Public Schools for winter weather delays and school closings. There will be no School Messenger phone calls sent out this year. Please ensure you are signed up for Loudoun Alerts, check WTOP, or watch the news for updates.
Founded in 2005, Potomac Falls, Virginia, Our Lady of Hope School is a co-educational school serving students in kindergarten through eighth grade. The presence of Christ permeates our rich Catholic educational traditions of developing the whole child: spiritually, academically, physically, and emotionally.
Our Lady of Hope School takes pride in its students and prepares them for future success. Our school scores well above the national average on standardized tests such as the Terra Nova, as well as excelling in music and athletic competitions. Our graduates are accepted into and achieve great things in the top high schools in the Northern Virginia, D.C., and Maryland area. Their achievements are attributed to hard work and perseverance in meeting the demands of a challenging curriculum coupled with an excellent faculty and supportive parent community.
